Pickup & Parking

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.

Parking is not guaranteed at pickup locations. If you plan to leave your vehicle there, please contact the hotel, property, or parking facility directly to confirm that parking is permitted, available, and whether any fees apply.

What to Bring

Please wear comfortable non-slip shoes, dress in layers, and bring a seasonal jacket. Mountain weather can change quickly.

Shared-tour luggage is limited to one backpack per guest, unless arranged with us in advance.

Lunch, Snacks & Water

You are welcome to bring your own lunch. Sandwiches and other practical foods that do not leak, spill, or have strong odours are best.

Food may also be available at some stops, or you can purchase lunch during your Banff free time.

We provide complimentary light snacks and bottled water.

Please let us know in advance about any important allergies. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.  

Keeping the Ride Comfortable

Please avoid phone conversations inside the vehicle and use headphones or earbuds for videos, games, or music.  

We also kindly ask guests to avoid strong perfumes or heavily scented products.  

Alcohol is not permitted during the tour.  

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside or around the vehicle. During stops, please use only areas where smoking or vaping is legally permitted and away from the vehicle and other guests.  

Restrooms

Flush restrooms are available at most scheduled stops.

Please note that  some stops may have non-flush/portable restroom facilities, which may become busy during peak periods.  

Wildlife & Nature

Please enjoy wildlife from a safe distance and never approach or feed animals. Guests should follow Parks Canada signs, closures, and safety instructions.

Please help us protect the Rockies by taking your belongings and garbage with you at every stop.  

About the Tour

This is a sightseeing transportation tour rather than a fully guided walking tour.

Your local driver will provide helpful information, recommendations, meeting points, and departure times. At the main attractions, guests will have time to explore independently at their own pace.  

While outside the vehicle, guests are responsible for their own safety, activities, children, and personal belongings, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children throughout the tour.  

Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their belongings, including items left inside the vehicle.

Before leaving the van, please check under and behind your seat, seat-back pockets/nets, and the area around you.

Elevation Charters is not responsible for items that are lost, forgotten, stolen, or damaged during the tour, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.  

Complimentary child car seats, booster seats, and a compact umbrella stroller may be available by advance request and subject to availability.

Please provide the child’s age, weight, and height in advance so we can arrange the appropriate restraint.

Parents or guardians are responsible for properly securing their child in the seat, adjusting the harness or seat belt, supervising stroller use, and following all manufacturer instructions.

If you prefer to bring your own child seat, booster seat, stroller, or other child equipment, please contact us in advance, as acceptance depends on available vehicle storage space.

Elevation Charters may refuse transportation if a child cannot be safely and legally restrained.

Staying on Schedule

Please return to the vehicle a few minutes before the meeting time given by your driver. Because this is a shared tour, we need to keep the day moving on schedule for everyone.  

Stop order and timing may occasionally change due to traffic, weather, road conditions, parking, closures, wildlife activity, or other circumstances beyond our control.
